Dalglish Wants To Bring Glory Days Back
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish wants to bring the Barclays Premier League back to Anfield. He has already signed Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Doni to the club this year and expects to bring more in.

We are aiming to get into the top 4 this year as a minimum target. We also expect our front line of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez to fire us to that target. I expect a few departures and I will sign 4-5 new players. A new left back will be signed and a top quality striker to contend with Carroll and Suarez

Kenny Dalglish has also promised fans the opportunity to select their first signing by taking part in a poll on the official website of the club. The poll will be to determine the new left back for Liverpool. A number of targets will be named and available for the fans to vote on. The current standings are:
Ally Cissokho-21%
Fabio Coentrao-15%
Jose Enrique- 15%
Cheikh M'Bengue-19%
Gael Clichy-20%
Other-10%|||You can now comment guys|||Good luck :)|||GL :)|||Cheers Guys|||
Duo Join Dalglish's Dream

Liverpool fans pick of Ally Cissokho has signed for 17.4M. Cissokho was signed from Lyon and is seen as a bright prospect at left back. A lot of clubs were bidding on him and its a coup for Liverpool to come out on top in this transfer battle that also saw Manchester City bid on the player. Cissokho has already been capped at international level for France and could turn out to be a really good signing for Dalglish's Liverpool.

I had no problem coming over to England to move to such a great club in Liverpool. Over in France they are seen as a massive club and play at the standard I want to be playing at. It's disappointing that the club are not in Europe this year but i'm sure we will be back in the Champions League next year. I'm looking forward to playing alongside great players that are here like Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Jamie Carragher and Pepe Reina. I'm absolutely honoured that the fans chose me from a lot of fine left backs

Dalglish has also done a bit of business that went under the radar this week. He has signed the young Brazilian talent Neymar from Santos for 15.2M. He had all the big clubs in for him. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester City and Inter Milan were all bidding on him so this is most certainly a coup for the Merseyside club.
The next poll is up on the website and the options are for the 4th striking position:
Cavani-10%
Lukaku-29%
Lavezzi-30%
Vucinic-10%
Sturridge-20%
Departing the club this week were: Konchesky, Jovanovic, N'Gog, Degan, Suso, Flanagan, Shelvey(loan) and Gulacsi.|||
Ezekial Is A Red

Ezekial Lavezzi has signed for Liverpool in a 25M deal from Napoli as Kenny Dalglish makes his third signing this summer. Lavezzi comes to contend with Andy Carroll, Luis Suarez and Neymar for two striking spots in the starting XI. Liverpool's squad looks to have improved massively since last year as news of a 15M fee agreed with Santos for Ganso is filtering through to us. One bit of news coming through from Liverpool is that Maxi Rodriguez has been sold to Benfica for 9M. Kenny said:

Once again our fans have lead us to an amazing player in Ezekial Lavezzi. He won't walk into the side as we have 4 strong strikers and we know goals win titles. We understand we have spent a lot of money on the players this summer but it will be worth it when we win the title this year. We have also let our weaker players go which is better for the club as a whole

Liverpool expect to bring a further two players in, both of whom will be attacking threats which will bring the fans attacking football which they crave.
