What transfers have you managed to make ? and what team are you ? :)|||I am Rotherham and signed;
Smithies - GK from Huddersfield for 1 Million
Wickham - ST from Ipswich for 1 Million
both great young players for league 2 teams.
I signed Mattock from West Brom and Soares from Stock along with Noble from SUnderland.
I should be pushing for the title now|||Free agents are your best freinds.|||I am going to do a oxford team. My first signing will be Osvaldo Alonso from Seattle sounders. He is a beast on my southampton team.|||There's this LM with the surename Svensson, signed him January 2011 for about £500,000, rated 61, quite pacy and great crossing. Would recommend signing him up.
I've also signed Henderson for about £500,000 off Preston, and this CB called Rauw from some time I can't remember. All of them are rated over 60, I wanted players that could do well in League 1 too, seeing as I'm 2nd at the minute.|||Is Henderson good ? :)|||This version of career mode is pretty sad. I have found it next to impossible to bring a team up from league 2 to the premier league and be competitive. You can bring a team up from league 2 pretty easy, but once you pass the championship your team cannot compete in the premier league end of story. You can't scout any good players and the Rich get richer. I have seen Arsenal Madrid Chelsea United Milan Barca and more teams continually churn out the good young talent year after year and my team (portsmouth) is stuck with a budget of about 3 mil to spend on transfers which barely buys me a 70 overall player at best. No scouting basically makes career mode * and impossible to truly have fun with considering I will probably never get to play champions league football or compete for any worthwhile trophies.... its sad to say but any FIFA prior to fifa 11 is much better in career mode. Career mode or manager mode started going downhill for me after 07 it's gotten worse each year with FIFA 11 being the worst by far and most unrealistic...|||

lol true, but i'm not all that interested in buying players to be honest, i would rather scout and get some good promising talent on my team and then sell them off to Arsenal or Chelsea. That is more realistic, but with the career mode we have I cant do that i'm forced to spend money in the transfer market and I get no money at all even though I should have a little bit of money to spend considering I got promoted and kept portsmouth in the prem for 1 season so far...
just as a side question what is your wage and transfer budget usually?? Like I said as portsmouth I only get around 3 mil per season and about 25k in wages. I usually just send all my money to the wage budget as I can't afford to buy anybody and I'm constantly just getting good players on loan, thats the only way to stay competitive that i've seen so far...
