I’m having trouble buying players, is there a way to search through clubs and selecting players through the squad lists or do you have to use the transfer player search tool?|||go onto buy players
and scroll down abit there will be an option that says league then directly underneath there is another option that says club|||cheers thanks.|||It might be useful to say if you scrole down on the options then you can select shortlisted as an option so you can view the players you have shortlisted.

Getting fired?!
Hi,
Me and a friend of mine are playing a manager game with Atletico Madrid. Right now we're battling with Real Madrid over the 1st rank in the liga (we currently are 1st over Real with 3 pts) - and we progressed in the Cup, defeating Tenerife (I think it was).
However, after a normal league game, where we won with 3 or 4 goals to nil, we got a message saying that our job is under rewview or something like that (not sure of the exact wording since i got a german version and dont speak german very well). it was clear though, that the meaning was that we soon would get fired.
I mean, were topping the league and doing well in the cup - why would the board (which, btw, is on amateur) consider firing us?!

Career Mode Players to buy?
Well, I've just started a new Career Mode with Manchester United on 13/01/11, and I need everyone to help my Career Mode become a successful one!!
I need everyone to suggest players to buy, suggest formations, suggest tactics, anything to help me progress throughout my Career Mode!!
I'll edit the thread regulary to keep you guys updated on this thread, you'll know whether I've moved up a position, moved down a position, progressed to the next round of a cup/competition or moved a trophy.
After each season I will post a season summery about which trophies I've won, how many Manager of the Month/Season awards I've been awarded and the highest transfer fee I've paid and received.
Coming Soon:
- At the end of every season be notified of which player wins the golden boot, golden glove, most assists, most red cards and most yellow cards crown.
If you have any ideas or suggestions about what you think I should do in the future to make this thread better please do not hesitate. I will comment on everyone's suggestions and will consider to use the best suggestions.

I do play them, but some players either don't grow at all even after 4 seasons of playing time, so I put them on the bench/reserves and then they drop overall.

Dalglish Wants To Bring Glory Days Back
Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish wants to bring the Barclays Premier League back to Anfield. He has already signed Stewart Downing, Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Doni to the club this year and expects to bring more in.
We are aiming to get into the top 4 this year as a minimum target. We also expect our front line of Andy Carroll and Luis Suarez to fire us to that target. Liverpool fans pick of Ally Cissokho has signed for 17.4M. Cissokho was signed from Lyon and is seen as a bright prospect at left back. A lot of clubs were bidding on him and its a coup for Liverpool to come out on top in this transfer battle that also saw Manchester City bid on the player. Cissokho has already been capped at international level for France and could turn out to be a really good signing for Dalglish's Liverpool.
I had no problem coming over to England to move to such a great club in Liverpool. Over in France they are seen as a massive club and play at the standard I want to be playing at. It's disappointing that the club are not in Europe this year but i'm sure we will be back in the Champions League next year. I'm looking forward to playing alongside great players that are here like Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez, Jamie Carragher and Pepe Reina. I'm absolutely honoured that the fans chose me from a lot of fine left backs
Dalglish has also done a bit of business that went under the radar this week. He has signed the young Brazilian talent Neymar from Santos for 15.2M. He had all the big clubs in for him. Ezekial Lavezzi has signed for Liverpool in a 25M deal from Napoli as Kenny Dalglish makes his third signing this summer. Lavezzi comes to contend with Andy Carroll, Luis Suarez and Neymar for two striking spots in the starting XI. Liverpool's squad looks to have improved massively since last year as news of a 15M fee agreed with Santos for Ganso is filtering through to us. One bit of news coming through from Liverpool is that Maxi Rodriguez has been sold to Benfica for 9M. Kenny said:
