Totally confused by the new career mode?

Did EA just rip out the part where you can improve your stadium/scouts/training etc?
Also how do you develop players, I read someone said it was bugged. I had it in mind to buy Wilshire and that kid from Everton and have them in midfield, will they develop by themselves?|||Yes that has been taken out and the Growth is automatic now but has some issues which have been addressed, we are just awaiting the patch...
