I still don't understand why that means they can't let you have a continental cup tournament in the first season. Makes no sense. They're calling it something else anyway. Does UEFA have a trademark or patent on all concepts related to a European cup tournament? If so, then how can they have a European tournament in any season? Why does that mean they can have it in every season after the first but not the first? I'm a friggen lawyer and I don't get that. There's surely a way to structure it so that you can have the continental cups in the first season without infringing on a licensing right. They've already changed the name of the tournament. A couple other minor tweeks to the structure ought to do it. From that point forward, it's a different tournament and without using the name, logo or music, I can't see how it would be a violation.
I Agree.... And then let us choose the entrance music in "my chants and music" in the menu, for the european torunaments. Then we can add the Champions League music ourselves...
C'mon EA make the European cup nights feel speciel. Make the game at night, make the crowd different, and let us play European football in the first season of career mode. ECL is the greatest competition in football, try getting that realisticly represented in the greatest football simulation....|||
I agree :) I wish they got the darn licensing off pes. Pes make it terrible, Champions League would be pro on career mode
The Pes Champions League is quality mate.:)|||Its because of Licensing therefore they have the 'ECC' which unfortunately means at some stadiums matches being played in broad daylight :) AND because they don't have all the teams in this seasons CL, such as MSK Zilina etc. i agree they should just randomize some from the Leagues already in it but nvm, The concept is still the same in your second season, Doesn't bother me as I'll be starting my season as Stoke Cityyy :)
