Just pick any team you like, if it has to be your favourite team, then so be it.
I'll give you a tip on buying players if you choose a rich club:
Try and buy players with an overall of 80+ who's younger than the age of 26, when the players are about 30, sell them, their overall will drop soon and lose their market value.

Career Mode Players-Become-Goalkeepers Error

I started my second season (Liverpool, EPL) and when I was preparing to play the Community Shield game, I had to go into squad adjustment 'cause a player got injured. When I did, three midfielders had turned into Goalkeepers (Gerrard, Aquilani, and Lavezzi if it matters). They were all number 10, and had an overall in the millions. Their portrait didn't load, and their stats did not exist. When I tried to play with them on the field they were simply automatically replaced. When I tried to put them on the bench, one of them was even deleted (not put on the reserves, but DELETED). Changing formations did nothing, nor did restarting or any of the basic tries.
If anyone had this problem in the past, please let me know if/how you got it fixed. I'd really hate to restart my career and find it to happen again. Thanks.|||Same thing happened to me.
This is an really strange bug.
In my career mode I've choosed to be coach for Manchester City. Yesterday I got in my second season and I bought C.Ronaldo. I played 2-3 games with him in the team yesterday. But today when I get in my career mode there is no Ronaldo, instead there is a goalkeeper without name and face with 8547482734 TOT. This player don't exist and i can't play with him (of course). I was trying to see if Ronaldo was still in the game (in my career mode), but when i searched his name he didn't exist anymore.
Someone told me that you can't fix it, but I still wonder if someone know if it can be fixed|||Do you know if the problem will repeat itself? I don't really mind restarting if it won't happen again.|||Is there a fix to this?|||I believe it was corrected with the patch .. but I'm not entirely sure|||EA has messed up again that patch from Nov. suks. I started today and again the goalkeepers are put in midfield.
And players names are missing from the squad. also the formation is affected. So careful when you play online. if you have custom formation. it may not work like mine didnt.

What makes a good CB duo?

I am playing a CM with Roma and am fed up with Juan and Mexes. In the coming offseason I intend on buying two new CB and was wondering if you guys had some suggestions as to what makes a good pair. Maybe there isn't anything but you never know unless you ask.|||I like having a taller CB with good heading as LCB and a faster one as RCB. One of my favorite pairings is Pique and Lovren. They can switch out and they both bag a lot of goals especially from set pieces. You either need a really tall or really fast CB. There's also a couple of CDM's that double as a CB so you can also check those. One of those is Toulalan of Lyon. He's a great tackler but I'm not sure about his speed. But you'll have to do some searching. Maybe in the search try and find defenders with the speedster trait?|||I guess cheap isn't the right word. Mainly just guys outside of the top tier crazy expensive CBs.|||Yea, a decent CB will cost you at least 20m unless you want to grow your own.|||I like using Mexes and Astori.|||I use Hangeland (6 ft 5) and Metzelder (6 ft 4) for Schalke 04, no one can beat them in the air and I score almost every corner|||i also like a strong defender (or stocky as their body type) and a tall, fast one at right back. I use Gabbidon and Baird (ok not that tall) and there good together but their overall's are only in the 70's and their both like 35!|||I have Pique and David Luiz at my Barcelona one. But if you go to Bremen, Naldo and Mertesacker are like 6 ft 6 each :)
There's a few really fast CB's in the lower leagues, one even has 93 sprint speed, not sure about his taclking though|||If u have the money Tiago Silva & Chiellini|||I find that that a tall and fast pair is good as well. Next season I am thinking of buying a fast CB to match the 6ft 4 Kroldrup :)|||Manoel is a great CB, strong, fast good headers and cost around 5-6 milion euro|||on my ultimate team it is david luiz---carvahlo they do well together

Why is my manager stupid?

I play (started season 1 as player) up front for Liverpool in my career mode. Along side Lucas. For some reason. Torres is on the bench. Kuyt is on the right half the time, the bench the other half. Ngog is in the reserves. Babel flits in and out of the bench. But I'm up there with Lucas.

jokes aside, I see where you're coming from. I'm currently in a carreer with HSV and Werder Bremen got Marin on the bench all the time and other class players are only in the reserves
