VP disappeared at end of season

completed my first season with leicester , at end of the season asked to renew contracts and selected all the players listed , but after the new season started my VP was not in the squad, checked all my players , in the VP options it is listed my VP is playing for leicester.
did i do something wrong at the end the season for my VP to not be included|||You've renewed your managerial contract as a 'manager' and not a 'player manager'.|||damn lol such a noob mistake

I played my first season as a player only, then signed for another team as a player. For preseason friendlies I was on the bench, but now for league games I don't make the matchday squad. My status on the career frontand is "Picked". I'm also forced to play these games in which I have no involvement.

Haha, fair point :)|||Is there any way to get your pro back into the team? I press manager instead of player/manager by mistake, if not then will he re-appear if I pick player/manager the season after?|||Same problem happened to me.
